Biography

Jim Hoffman, a nature photographer from Montgomery, NY, has been photographing the CATSKILL PARK and the 6 million acre ADIRONDACK PARK in NY State for the past seven years.

Jim's FLORA, WILDLIFE and LANDSCAPE nature photographs have been published four times in collected works by THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF PHOTOGRAPHY.

He has received several of the SOCIETIES awards for OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY.

In the past, Jim, worked in semiconductor chip manufacturing using a SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPE and X-RAY ANALYZER to determine the source of contamination on semiconductor chips in order to improve manufacturing yields.

Jim's long time passion is capturing the beauty of nature in his photography. Jim enjoys bringing you closer to nature through his stunning photographs.
